
Hilton Worldwide has partnered with the Al Habtoor Group to convert two hotels in Beirut to the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand and to develop the very irst Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts property in Dubai.
The agreement would see Hilton Worldwide enter Lebanon by converting the 195-room Habtoor Grand Hotel and the 183-room Metropolitan Palace to the Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand and Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace.

The Al Habtoor Group, while best known for construction, is globally recognized through its involvement in the hotel, automotive, real estate, education, insurance and publishing sectors. Al Habtoor Group ceurrently operates in the UAE and international markets.
The Group’s Construction division, Al Habtoor Engineering Enterprises (now part of the Al Habtoor Leighton Group), have built projects that include include Burj Al Arab and the multibillion-dollar construction of the new Terminal 3 Concourse 2 project at Dubai International Airport.
