Samsung Galaxy S7 revealed in new Leaked images!

samsung galaxy S7 edge leak

What could be leaked images of the Samsung Galaxy S7 have been released, just under a fortnight ahead of the upcoming flagship smartphone’s official launch.

One image, released by Vietnamese tech website ReviewDao, appears to show the back of the device, but unfortunately doesn’t give too much away. One of the leaked images was published by Vietnamese tech site ReviewDao

We can’t confirm much about the phone’s rumoured specs from the image, but SamMobile pointed out the camera does appear to be a little more flush with the back plate than it was in the S6, potentially proving one of the many S7 rumours right.

It also looks like the back is plastic, and not glass, as has been rumoured – however, according to SamMobile this phone may only be a prototype, so we shouldn’t take it as an accurate impression of how the final phone will look.

You can catch a glimpse of the metal frame on the sides of the device, however, which is apparently magnesium and not aluminium, according to rumours.

Another leaked image, which was released around the same time on Chinese social network Weibo, purports to show the front of the S7 Edge, the larger, curved-screen version of the phone, which will likely be released alongside the standard model on 21 February.

The image shows the phone displaying the results of an AnTuTu benchmark test, which labels the phone as an SM-G9350, which earlier leaks have claimed is the S7 Edge’s model number.

The benchmarking result, which reflects the phone’s technical performance, is 134704, which is what could be expected for a phone with the S7’s rumoured specs.

The images don’t reveal too much by themselves, but they could have confirmed a few stories about the long-awaited phone.

The Galaxy S7 is due to be unveiled at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on Sunday 21 February, in an event which starts at 6PM GMT

Pep Guardiola confirmed as Bayern Munich coach on three-year deal!

Bayern Munich have announced that Pep Guardiola will become the club’s new coach when Jupp Heynckes’ contract expires this summer.

Bayern revealed that Heynckes, 67, will stay on in his post until the end of this season before retiring, at which point the former Barcelona coach will take over on a deal that runs until June 2016.

The news comes 24 hours after Bayern’s media director Markus Horwick described claims that the club had approached Guardiola to take over as “complete rubbish”, and Guardiola himself said he hoped to manage in the Premier League, with Manchester City and Chelsea among those interested in hiring him.

Bayern, though, revealed that the move had been in the pipeline since at least before Christmas, when Heynckes informed the club he would not be seeking a contract extension.

Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Bayern’s chief executive, said: “We are delighted that we have managed to get Pep Guardiola whom several big clubs wanted and contacted. He is one of the most successful trainers in the world and we are sure that not only Bayern Munich but the whole of German football will benefit from what he brings.”

Rummenigge backed Heynckes to oversee a strong end to the season, having guided Bayern to a nine-point lead in the standings ahead of the Bundesliga’s resumption following the winter break this weekend.

“As a club and as Jupp Heynckes’ friends we have to show understanding for this decision. We have to accept it and we have to respect it,” Rummenigge added. “During personal talks with Jupp we assured each other that we will do anything we can, and now even more, to have a successful second half of the season.”

Heynckes, in his third spell at Bayern after returning to the club in June 2011, guided the club to the Champions League final in May, where they lost to Chelsea on penalties.

Bayern’s chairman Uli Hoeness added: “Only someone of the calibre of Pep Guardiola was an adequate replacement for Jupp Heynckes.”

Guardiola, 41, replaced Frank Rijkaard at Barca in 2008 and during his four years at Camp Nou led the club to 13 trophies, making him the most successful coach in the club’s history.

“The signing of Guardiola shows the value of Bayern who want to be on par with the likes of Real Madrid or Manchester United,” said Bayern’s honorary president Franz Beckenbauer.

Shakira Bares Baby Bump, Pushes Good Cause!

We already know about her honest hips, but Shakira is giving fans an up-close look at her protruding belly in a hot new Twit pic.

Posing in very little clothing alongside Gerard Pique, the singer writes as a caption to the following image:

“We’d like to celebrate the imminent birth of our first child with all of you. #babyshower”

The Voice Season 4 judge is clearly ready to pop at any moment, though a joke by her boyfriend late last month had us believing Shakira already gave birth. The charitable star, meanwhile, included in the message a link to the couple’s world baby shower that is meant to help UNICEF save children’s lives.

Messi claims fourth “Ballon d’Or” award !

Lionel Messi

LIONEL MESSI has netted the prestigious Ballon d’Or for an unprecedented FOURTH time.

Barcelona ace Messi, 25, pipped Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo and team-mate Andres Iniesta at the glittering awards ceremony in Zurich.

The European Ballon d’Or, last won by the Argie in 2009, merged with FIFA’s World Player of the Year award in 2010 to become the FIFA Ballon d’Or.

And Messi, who broke Gerd Muller’s 40-year-old record last month by scoring 91 goals in a calendar year, had backed Iniesta to scoop the prize.

But the humble hitman got the nod to add to his growing collection of gongs — compunding what has been a miserable season so far for rival star Ronaldo.

With his side currently a whopping 16 points adrift of La Liga leaders Barca, Ron made his feelings clear in the build-up to the big night by claiming “life would go on” if he failed to win.

The former Manchester United man, 27, said: “If I win, perfect — if I don’t, never mind, life goes on.

“But obviously I’d love to win. I’m not going to lie or be hypocritical.

“Fair or unfair, the decision will be what it will. I’ll be very happy maybe or very sad, but that’s life.”
