Whatsapp Web is Finally Available on iPhone!

After launching on Chrome and Android earlier this year, WhatsApp Web is finally making its way to the iPhone. WhatsApp Web lets users access their messages in Chrome, bringing one of the world’s largest messaging platforms to the desktop. Up until this point WhatsApp Web was restricted to Android, Windows, and Blackberry devices due to “Apple platform limitations.”

But now it’s available on every major platform, with iPhone support currently rolling out, as first noted by The Next Web. To use the web client, head to web.whatsapp.com and scan the QR Code using WhatsApp on your device and it will begin pairing.

Go to Settings in your Whatsapp App, and it should be there “Whatsapp Web”. No Update required!

WhatsApp Adds an Option to Disable Blue Ticks, Here’s How You Can Get it!

Last week WhatsApp introduced ‘read receipts’ in the form of two blue ticks, letting users know if their message or picture had be seen by their chatting partner.

However, it seems that this wasn’t a universally popular move and WhatsApp is now introducing the option to disable this feature if they want to keep the nagging out of their conversations.

It’s only available to Android users who have downloaded the new beta version of the app (whatsapp.com/android), but those that have can go to Settings > Privacy > and disable the ‘Read Receipts’ option to banish the blue ticks when you read other people’s messages.

What about having WhatsApp on your wrist?

You can already have an encyclopedia on your wrist, so why not a messaging service?

That’s at least the thinking behind the makers of WhatsApp, who have released their app for Android Wear.

Beginning today, WhatsApp has now been made available for Android Wear devices. You’ll be able to read your messages and even reply to them from your smartwatch.

Now don’t think you’ll be typing away on a tiny screen; you’ll need to talk into your wrist Dick Tracy style to dictate the messages. What’s interesting is that WhatsApp hasn’t made the update public. There isn’t any mention of it on the Google Play Store, nor have they made any official announcements regarding the latest update.

You’ll need to manually install the update to get the feature as well; it won’t be pushed to your device. It should be headed to the Google Play Store very soon, but if you want to start talking into your wrist, then you can click the source link below and go to town.
